Cave of Romulus and Remus discovered on Palatine hill, Rome

Fantastic discovery of grotto associated with the myth of the founding of Rome on the Palatine hill.Photographs of the discovery  Please see article here.  I won’t re-iterate what is said in the article,  suffice to say I will try to put some more pictures on the blog as they come available.

In the next few days I will also post some articles about this specific myth.  What a wonderful discovery.  It begs the question,  what else is there further to discover under the pavements of Rome?
